Nearly 50 works of art open for bids in POW! festival auction – The Isle Of Thanet News

Auction piece: Arte Noir by Eleanor Marriot

About 49 works of art by 37 local, national and international artists are now available to bid, with all funds raised in support of Power Of Women! the festival’s work with local schools and community groups and 2022 POW! event.

The art auction is now live on Jumblebee at: https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/powerofwomenartauction2021

The audience can explore the exhibition and bid, and the auction ends on Sunday 28 November at

Local and global artists including Tracey Emin, Tatty Devine, Twinkle Troughton, Jacob Love, Jemma Channing and Lo Lo No have donated works of art.

The artworks included in the auction are on display in the Quench Gallery in Margate from now until Saturday 27 November. The exhibition is free to enter and opens daily from noon to 5 p.m.

POW! Thanet is a large annual multidisciplinary art festival celebrating International Women’s Day, bringing together artists, venues and organizations across Thanet to showcase invigorating events for all to enjoy, including performances, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and opportunities to get involved .
