“Nevertheless” ends with ratings rising as “Devil’s Judge” rises to new highs ahead of the final

JTBC’s “Nevertheless” is over!

On August 21, the romance drama starring Song Kang and Han So Hee – which has earned modest reviews over the course of its run – saw its viewership rise slightly in the final episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the series finale of “Nevertheless” scored an average nationwide rating of 1.7 percent.

Meanwhile, with only one episode left, tvN’s “the Devil Judge” achieved its highest ratings even before its own series finale. Drama’s penultimate episode received an average nationwide rating of 7.5 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all cable channels and setting a new personal record for the show.

“Devil Judge” also reached a new all-time high in viewership among the most important demographic of viewers aged 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 3.3 percent and a high of 4.0 percent.

MBC’s new romantic drama “Check Out the Event” dropped slightly to an average nationwide rating of 0.8 percent for its second episode, while KBS 2TV’s “Revolutionary Sisters” remained the most watched program of any kind, airing Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 29.8 percent.
