Halloween ends

In conversation with Entertainment weekly, David Gordon Green has suggested that Lindsey Wallace return Halloween ends.

[Kyle Richards] was fun. In the movie ’78, you see that moment with her and Tommy upstairs in the hallway after their confrontation with Michael Myers, and Laurie asks them to get out of the house and get help, and she’s their protector. So it was cool to be able to take the character full circle to a sequence we have on the playground where she has a very similar, protective moment with kids on a playground. It was fun to be able to see her role reversal, her maturity as a character. I’m not sure we’ve seen the last of Kyle Richards in our franchise.

Eternities

Manager Chloé Zhao revealed that she beat Marvel her Eternities idea with a William Blake poem and got “still allowed to stay in the room” in a recent interview with /Movie.

It started with me showing up [Feige] a macro photo of sand and then quotes a poem by William Blake. So I was still allowed to stay in the room so it was really nice. But in this poem, Blake tried to convey that you can see the endless beauty and cosmic meanings within the smallest things you can find on Earth. So the film’s vision was to sit down to capture that scale – something as big as the sun’s creation and as intimate as the whispers of lovers. So I think you know, going on the spot and making this kind of immersive footage and having the support to understand this amazing cast was in a way how we got here today.

Elsewhere, producer Nate Moore confirmed to Cartoon that “no two” of the film’s Deviants will look alike.

As you know, the deviants in the comics are called The Changing People, no two Deviants look alike. So in our film, there will be no two deviants that look alike. But you see it as a kind of these parasitic predators, when they kill a predator in the movie, they take the form of that predator. So they are a kind of bat-like Deviants. There is a wolf-like Deviant. There is a divergence that resembles all kinds of creatures from myths and legends in history. And these are the dissenters whom the eternal ones were sent again to exterminate to help mankind advance. Because Deviants are the changing humans, they come in all different shapes and sizes.

Ikaris also makes a heroic entrance, while Sersi turns a truck to rose petals in a new clip.
