New Predator movie compared to The Revenant

It was announced last year that 10 Cloverfield Lane Director Dan Trachtenberg was working on a secret Predators movies, and although there have been a lot of rumors since that time, we’ve had very little official information … until now. While talking to Collider, producers John Davis and John Fox have spilled a few details about the new one Predators movies that they say will have the title: Skull.

John Davis and John Fox confirmed it Skull will feature a female hero and explained how the film will feel much more like the original Arnold Schwarzenegger film than any of the sequels. “It goes back to what made the original Predator movie work. It is the ingenuity of a man who will not give up, who is able to observe and interpret, basically be able to strike a stronger, more powerful, well-armed force,“Explained Davis. Skull becomes an origin story for the Predators’ first visit to our planet, and Fox went on to compare the film to Leonardo DiCaprio’s The recurring.

It actually looks like The Revenant than it does any movie in the Predator cannon. You know what I mean when you first see it.

As for the story of this film, the couple will not waste the prayers, with Davis only saying, “You can use your imagination. It is early.“A release date for Skull is not yet revealed, but Davis said Dan Trachtenberg is “probably three-quarters of the way through“production at this time. Although each of Predators sequels offer in my opinion something of value, they certainly lack the cruel original. Will Dan Trachtenberg’s project have what it takes? I do not know, but I certainly can not wait to find out.
