Jamie Foxx’s Electro was one of the first characters to be rumored to be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home earlier this year. Then the film’s introductory teaser teased his performance before the trailer revealed his completely comically-precise look. Now, a new TV spot revealed an even closer look at the character, and fans can not get enough.
Just like in the second teaser, this image also shows him lighting up, albeit from a different angle. In fact, Foxx’s similarity is as clear as day at the moment.

In addition to Foxx returning as Electro, Willem Dafoe also returns as the version of Green Goblin he previously played in Sam Raim’s Spider-Man trilogy. Rhys Ifans and Thomas Haden Church are also expected to return to repeat their roles as Lizard and Sandman, respectively.
“It was actually a funny story about when I first met Willem.” Spidey star Tom Holland said earlier. “Of course at the time, all the villains in the movie were a huge secret that they were in the movie. So they would walk around put on with these robes on, and of course you know these guys were very excited to come back and bring these roles back to life that they were going to put in a week before they started filming just to see what it was like.Meet Jon (Watts, director), meet myself, hang out on the set and have fun. like into this guy in a cloak. I thought, “Watch out mate.” And he took off his hood and I was almost really scared. “Oh damn, Santa’s here.” A real pleasure to work with. “
