Marvel and Sony have released the new trailer for the director Jon Watts‘ Spider-Man: No Way Home, and holy shit! This thing is packed with all sorts of crazy cool footage that fans are going to get smart about!
I’m excited! How can you not be after seeing this !? The director is going to deliver another super cool Spider-Man movie! There’s still no sign of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, but I do not care! They do not have to appear in this movie to make it good. It looks like it’s going to be a great story!
The long-awaited sequel looks Tom HollandPeter Parker joins forces Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Doctor Strange as they find themselves in a wild multiverse adventure after Peter asks Strange to make people forget he’s Spider-Man. As you’ve seen in the trailer, things go horribly wrong while Strange tries to perform the spell.
Here is the synopsis:
For the first time in Spider-Man’s film history, the identity of our friendly neighborhood hero is revealed, bringing his superhero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and endangering those he cares about the most. When he gets Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world and releases the most powerful villains who have ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now Peter will have to overcome his biggest challenge yet, which will not only forever change his own future, but the future of the Multiverse.
Some of the villains in the film are i.a. Alfred Molina‘s Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx‘s Elektro, Willem Dafoe‘s Green Goblin, and maybe Thomas Haden Church as Sandman. The cast also includes zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash, and Hannibal Buress as coach Wilson.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
