Sun, sand and sea. Put three families in a beach house that contains six friends from all over back as their children and their grandchildren and you have the perfect recipe for a week filled with relaxing breakfasts, snacks on the beach and swimming at night. It was just what the soul needed. No alarm clocks, wearing PJs before you had to change into your swimsuit. Excellent seafood, theme nights and special recipes were the fare of the week! Games of charades and cornhole were enjoyed by all. “Life is good,” became our mantra. When you look around the table and see generations smiling and laughing together, life is definitely good. As we head back into the classroom, I hope the summer has recharged you in the coming months and that your head is full of fond memories and your heart is full.
