The hunt for a stolen BMW started before kl. 21.50 in the area of La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.
At one point, the suspect drove out onto a sidewalk.

Sky2 was over the stage, just before noon. 22, when officers attempted two PIT maneuvers at Hollywood Boulevard and Berendo Street in East Hollywood, but the suspect was able to continue driving.
A few minutes later, he drove into Los Feliz, where he drove into several parked cars on Hillhurst and Prospect Avenue.
He jumped out of the BMW and tried to run, but was chased down and caught on foot. The suspect was not immediately identified.
