Rebel Wilson on body problems, weight loss and being proud

“I did not think highly of myself.”

Last week, Rebel Wilson spoke honestly with her fans on Instagram about her emotional journey toward a healthy life.

Rebel posted a photo on her “most unhealthy” and explained why she is so proud of where she is now.

“I remember that was when I was at my most unhealthy,” he wrote Pooch perfect host. “Being overweight and indulging too much in junk food.”

“Using food to calm my emotions. My father had passed away in a heart attack and it was so sad.”

“I did not think highly of myself and did not value myself how I should feel.”

Despite being a low point in her life, the 41-year-old Australian actress admired herself for staying active and being able to smile through it all.

“Just wanted to send an encouragement to everyone out there who is struggling with weight or body issues or emotional eating.”

“I feel you. I know how it is. But it’s never too late to start improving yourself and try to be the best possible version of YOU.”

But this is not the first time she is opening up to a lifestyle change. Rebel, who became famous by playing Fat Amy in Pitch perfectly, recently talte about losing 65 pounds.

After proclaiming 2020 as her year of health, Rebel answered fan questions on Instagram Live with details about the motivation behind her decision to lose weight.

“It only started when I was looking at fertility material and the doctor said, ‘Well, you would have a much better chance if you were healthier.’ If I lost a little too much, it would give me a better chance of freezing eggs and making the eggs of a better quality, “she says said. “So that was what at first was not even myself, it was more to think about the future mini-me, really.”
