FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – This evening around kl. 19.30 Roger J. Stone Jr. released. the following statement regarding the committee on January 6 and a subpoena that Stone expects to receive regarding the same. The statement was released via email and published shortly thereafter.

I understand that I have been included in this round of subpoenas issued by the select committee on January 6th. I have not yet been served and have not seen the details of what I may be asked to give or what information they want from me. I have repeatedly said that I was not aware in advance of the events that were taking place at the Capitol that day. Any statement, allegation, insinuation or report that claims, or even suggests, that I had any involvement in or knowledge, whether I was in advance or at the same time, about the commission of illegal acts by a person or group in or around it U.S. capital or anywhere in the United States. Washington, DC on January 6, 2021, is categorically false. After the summons has been served, and after my lawyer has reviewed the requests, I will decide how I will proceed.
