The “Late Show” host noted that New York’s Attorney General Letitia James had taken legal action against Trump and two of his children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, for forcing them to testify under oath while investigating potential fraud.
“Lord, please make it happen,” Colbert pleaded:
“Please,” he said. “I do not ask for much and I do not ask so often. All I want before I die is to see Don Jr. swear by a jar of hair jelly. That’s all he believes in.”
