Sluve Stallone is back to kick more in the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The confirmation we have all been waiting for took place when Stallone announced via a clip behind the scenes today that he was actually on the set for Guardians of the Galaxy. The third installment, which is expected to be released in 2023, will mark Stallone’s return to the galaxy after appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in 2017. Stallone will repeat his role as Stakar Ogord aka Starhawk.

In the caption of the post, Stallone writes: “To those interested [in] what goes on behind the scenes of film production. Here is only a very small part of it. Duplicating the face. “The actor gives fans a sneak peek at the social media platform surrounded by” very sensitive equipment “that shows us” what they do in advance “to capture” every expression you can have “to” be duplicated if you are not nearby. The star shows us an example of an already photographed face of a man with “eye-neutral” and a “scrubbing” face. He goes on to say, “filmmaking has definitely become a science” before opting out. The second clip of the post shows the equipment at work while Stallone poses and what seems like a million cameras flashing to photograph his face.

In an Instagram post made earlier this week, the director said James Gunn shared his own picture of the first day of filming on the set surrounded by the familiar faces from Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Zoe Saldanaalong with new franchise stars, Will Poulterto portray Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji. Stallone’s relationship with Gunn extends beyond the Marvel universe and reaches into the DC world, where the two worked together on The suicide group when Stallone pronounced a shorts-wearing, partly shark, partly human character named King Shark.
