Titanfall is being removed from stores today, but you will still be able to play

Titanfall, Respawns ingenious multiplayer game about jumping into giant combat robots, will no longer be available for sale after today. The study says that it has decided to delist Titanfall and that it will disappear from subscription services on March 1, 2022. Fortunately, everyone who already owns the game will still be able to play.

“Titanfall is part of our DNA at Respawn,” the studio says in an ominous text image posted on Twitter todayDecember 1st. “It’s a game that showed the studio’s ambitions when it was first released more than seven years ago, and it continues to be a beacon of innovation that we strive for in all of our games.”

Although Respawn will not sell any new copies of Titanfall from now on, players who own the game will still be able to play, the studio says. “However, we will keep servers alive for the dedicated fanbase who are still playing and those who own the game and want to drop for a match.”

Respawn once again cryptically suggests that Titanfall ‘universe’ will exist, both in Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends, as well as “in the future”, and says that it is “a north star for the caliber of experiences we will continue to create here at Revive. ” So far, however, there are no signs of any movement on Titanfall 3.
