LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Public assistance is needed Wednesday to track down the driver of a tractor-trailer that fatally hit a pedestrian in southern LA earlier this week.
A woman walked north near Grand and Gage Avenue at 6 p.m. 6:40 a.m. when a tractor-trailer turning right onto Gage from the northbound Grand hit her. The driver left the scene without stopping to help or identify himself.

Safety video from a nearby gas station took pictures at a distance of the tractor-trailer, which was possibly about to leave the northbound 110 Freeway. It appears to have been a late model, dark-colored cab with a possible company logo on the driver’s side. The trailer it pulled was white with some numbering and letters on the front and sides.
