It’s finally here — the whole new thing Cobra Kain season 4 trailer. Of course, we had to wait a bit for that, with a preamble shit of the kids watching up and hauling the teaser. I like all these kids together, which is a surprise as I think many of us went into the show just because we wanted to focus on Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio), but you know what – that’s why the show has connected as well as it has. You like everyone.
Of course, the teaser on a VHS tape that was run over in the sketch was only for Tanner Buchanan to save the day by sending it an email! Hooray!
As expected, the teaser showed Daniel and Johnny together to lead Miyagi-Do against Cobra Kai in the All-Valley Tournament. We get a glimpse of Robby under the guidance of Martin Koves Kreese, plus the newly released Hawk (Jacob Bertrand) training along with his former enemies who became friends. In addition, we get a look at how Johnny and Daniel’s teaching techniques are anything but harmonious, plus best of all a look at Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver. For those who do not know, it was Silver Kove’s old comrade who joined him Karate Kid part 3 in a brutal conspiracy to attack and humiliate Daniel, only for Pat Moritas’ Mr. Miyagi to come along at the last minute and piss him off and save his valued student. At the time, Daniel was too boyish to take him on, but in season 4, well, I think those two are going to make it. While he’s older now, Griffith with hair and muscles still looks fearsome, as does Martin Kove for that matter.
If you’re like me and you can not wait Cobra Kai Season 4, don’t worry – it’s here before the end of the year. December 31, 2021, to be exact. Time for New Year’s Eve!
