What is the current and next Genshin Impact banner?

Wondering what the next Genshin Impact banner is? Genshin Impact banners adhere to a fairly regular schedule. Each update comes with a new banner that lasts about three weeks, and after it expires, it is followed by another banner that also lasts about three weeks, after which it is update time again.

This means that even though we hear rumors of new Genshin Impact characters arriving in upcoming updates, we will not know their exact release date until we know which banner they will be a part of and whether it will be the first or second banner in the update. Occasionally, banners do not adhere to this schedule – most notably, update 1.3 had three two-week banners, so Hu Tao’s banner did not cross over with the Chinese New Year.

Each banner with a limited character – or Event Wish – typically contains a five-star character and three four-star characters. There is also a weapon banner – Epitome Invocation – which runs next to each character banner and has different weapons each time. Here’s everything you need to know about the current and upcoming Genshin Impact banners.
